The Golden State...

For awhile now we have been considering the idea of moving back to California.
I have not really mentioned it here because once I write something on my blog I feel like it makes it so real and then I have to pay attention to it. ya know?
The possibility excites me a whole lot but also brings its fair share of worry and makes me a bit scared.
I moved to Arizona shortly before my 17th birthday. I am now 24 and I never thought I would have stayed here that long. In the beginning of our relationship we were long distance and when the time came where we just could not stand to be that far apart anymore we considered our options. Tim move to Arizona. Bri move back to California.
My sisters were so young at the time and even though I longed for days of laying on the beach again, I could not bear the idea of being away from the girls and them growing up without me. My brother, was already 18 when we moved to Arizona so he stayed in California and that was really hard for our little sisters to deal with.
I knew there was just no way I could go. So without blinking an eye, Tim packed up and moved here. (which further confirmed I had picked the right one!)
Flash forward a handful of years. We are married, we own a home, we have two pups and we love being so close to my family and the time we get to spend with them.

Lately, the desire to move back "home" has been getting stronger and stronger. We miss our friends dearly and often feel like we are missing out on a lot. Sometimes it seems like it is just as simple as saying "We are young! what are we waiting for? Pack up the pups and let's go!" but then we start to think about finances, our family and our future and things get a little bit more difficult. It is sort of hard trying to plan for the future, isn't it?

We will definitely be sitting down praying and weighing out all our options. A change in our lives is needed and I am excited to see what is in store!
For now, we are extremely grateful California is only a 6 hour drive away :)

How did you end up where you are now? Ever make a big decision to start over somewhere new? tell me about it... your advice is appreciated!

Wow, what a huge decision!! I don't even know how I would go about making such a decision. I'm an AZ native and have only ever lived here...Ryan is constantly craving his hometown of Chicago and I have no idea how that feels! I think if we move anytime soon it would be to Colorado, though. Just because it's beautiful :)

Good luck!
