My Weekend in an Instant...

So, Basically this weekend was all about this girl...

My little sister Olivia. She turned 13 Sunday, but ya know 13 deserves more than just one day!
Friday, TK and I had dinner at home and then did a little shopping at Target.

On the way home we stopped at 7-11 so Tim could get a slurpee and happened upon the most amazing cup of all time.

This is the only cup he drinks out of now, btw.
I stayed up till 2:30 working on Liv's bday present.

I bought her a journal and customized pages for her so she can keep track of everything that happens in her 13Th year of life. She really loved it and said "I can't stop smiling!"

For livi's birthday she wanted to spend the day with me. In her journal,I added three envelopes and each had a note inside with a different surprise.
Surprise 1. Manicure!

Surprise 2. Photo booth and Unlimited Candy at Smeeks!

Surprise 3. Cupcakes at Sprinkles!

After all her surprises we picked up Tim and headed to Chompies for dinner (livi's choice) and we all got skillets. Mine had onions. Awesome.

Then we rented Soul Surfer and went home. She really loved her day and all her surprises which really made me happy. I had a lot of fun with her and she is really the coolest kid I know :)
Sunday was her birthday party and I was in charge of the cake. I decided on cupcakes but ran into some serious issues. I added cotton candy on top but the icing and the cotton candy started to melt. I put it in the fridge but nothing helped.

Owell, Liv still liked it and it tasted fine. I left my moms house around 9 and pretty much went straight to bed since I felt like crap all day. Unfortunately, not much has changed. I hate when colds sorta just sit around for awhile making you feel crappy until they come out full blown. know what I mean?
