My weekend in an instant...

This is literally the only picture I took this weekend.
Basically, because I did nothing this weekend. On Thursday, I came down with a fever and a weird thing you don't want to know about and it sorta stuck around all weekend. All day Saturday I laid in bed and read Harry Potter.
(Note: I have never read HP before but my SIL highly recommended it so I am starting from the beginning and it is so fun!)

On Friday our AC went out again and we were told it would not be fixed until the end of this week (although they might be able to make it out tomorrow!), so we stayed with my parents through the weekend and we are still here. I did not think much about blogging, or twitter, or facebook or anything all weekend and it was actually kinda nice.

So this is the only picture I have for you, but I think it is pretty legit.

Friday...

So it has been a bit of a wierd week. It started with an ant infestation, our air conditioning broke, was fixed, and it broke again. So we have moved in with my parents for the weekend. Which is awesome, because I love sleeping on my little sisters bunk bed in her room with the gigantic Taylor Lautner poster! But seriously ya'll, we are so thankful for my parents living around the corner because it feels like hell in our house right now. Needless to say, we are hoping for a cool weekend.

White out...

Next month will be two years of us living in this house and we have painted our living room and kitchen two times. I am itching to paint it again and I want it white. I love the freshness of a white room. I told Tim about this idea but, I don't think he is too crazy about it.

BK: I want to paint the living room again.
TK: BRI you are killing me!

I suppose most people make trips to Los Angeles to go to Disneyland or for a beach vacation. We went to L.A. this weekend for a pizza party. And a damn good one at that.

Friday I was really sick. I left work late. We got on the road an hour later then planned. Tim forgot his ipod,which meant our en route entertainment was limited to bad radio reception and old cd's we could find in the car. We were a little tired and a little frustrated

If I had to use one word to describe this week I don't know what I would use but I definitely would not use fun. But that is all about to change because I am headed to L.A. tonight! Ain't no sinus infection gonna hold me down!

Isn't it crazy how no matter what age, successful, awesome, you are...when you pull out your "puffer" you automatically look like a dork?

Keeping those crampy days from being crappy days...

Well ladies, we all get em. Those dreaded crampy days when it feels like someone is using our insides to make a balloon animal. (Sorry to any guys that might be reading this. Although, including my husband I think I know of about three guys that read my blog and one of them, I am pretty sure does have a time of the month)
Since I recently encountered one of these days, I thought I would share my methods on how I get through. Because, a crampy day does not have to end up a crappy day!

Talks with TK...Love Letter Edition

I have mentioned before that the first year of mine and Tim's dating relationship was long distance. He in California and I in Arizona. Throughout that year we wrote lots of letters back and forth. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed receiving Tim's letters and I think getting to know him through written word might even helped me fall in love a little faster ♥

Tim put so much into his letters that each one almost felt like a little date! (which was nice since we did not get to actually go on real date too often)He would include a long letter, little notes, drawings and sometime he would even make me games to play! haha. I always appreciated his creativity and it helped to keep my heart still while we were apart. In fact, when he decided to move to Arizona, I was a little sad that we would not have to write letters anymore.(Although, he still writes bomb birthday cards!)
Anyhow, I thought that occasionally I might share snippets here and there from our letters, (none of the lovey dovey stuff, of course!)but don't blame me if you fall even more in love with him !
